Erica has invited us to dance at the Gloucestershire Vintage & Steam Country Extravaganza at South Cerney Airfield on 1st and 2nd August! Please join us for one day or both.
We will be in the Vintage Entertainment Tent on Saturday and Sunday, located near the main public entrance gates. There will be live music, dance classes (from us!), guest DJs, vintage fashion shows, best dressed competition, Swing Stroll classes, and dancing; all arranged by Erica.
There will be a charity operating a station serving tea, coffees, and cakes. Please bring your own chairs, so as not to take up their allocated area… unless of course, you are buying their coffee and cake!
The Midwest Big Band will make a welcome return on Saturday, amongst others. The 18-piece Big Band has within its ranks some of the very best local talent, including professional conductor Bob Cutting (ex-Herb Miller band), and will perform music from Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, and golden tracks from the legends of swing.
On Sunday Erica is happy to be hosting Josie and The Radio Tones, for your dancing delight.
