Join Trisha Sewell for a weekend dedicated to followers in Lindy Hop.

Saturday, 10 January

12:00–17:00 4 hours of teaching with tea breaks (arrive fuelled up by a good brunch!)
17:30 Optional group dinner at The Royal Oak (just down the road from the hall, not included in the workshop cost)

Sunday, 11 January

10:30–15:40 4 hours of teaching with breaks, including a 40-minute lunch (please bring your own)
16:00–18:30 Tea Dance – invite the leads and enjoy dancing together with tea and cake, trying out what you’ve learnt!

Practicalities
  • Suitable for dancers from improver to advanced – as long as you’re confident with 6-count and 8-count basics, you’ll get plenty from this workshop
  • Tea, coffee, and cow’s milk provided – please bring your own mug
  • Cost: £85 per person
  • Followers attending the course can invite one lead free of charge to the tea dance
  • Followers can be any gender
  • Plenty of parking on site

Join us for an empowering and energising day of dancing with the international Lindy Hop teacher, Trisha Sewell. Known for her infectious energy, clarity of teaching, and deep knowledge of partnered dance, Trisha will guide you through a transformative workshop explicitly designed for followers.

Whether you’ve been dancing for a few months or many years, this workshop is for you. Suga Bomb aims to help every follower feel fabulous, confident, and equal in the dance partnership. You’ll come away with practical tools to refine your technique, boost your creativity, and express your individuality in every dance.

  • Understand how to maintain a strong connection while keeping your individuality.

  • Engage in self-analysis and experimentation to deepen your practice.
  • Discover techniques for independent improvement that you can carry beyond the workshop.
